How the app helps
You’re the head of the rescue group. Whenever the alert comes your role is to gather volunteers at one place on a given time, check if all required roles are covered, pack equipment and head out the quickest possible.
In the process practiced to perfection, there might be some challenging parts that requires a lot of your attention – to determine WHO can attend the emergency action this time, WHEN they are available and WHAT are the roles of attendees.
GoRescuer App enables volunteers to quickly provide their responses and you can easily manage this information to make prompt and optimal decisions.
Who can benefit
The app is designed for groups which take emergency actions such us medical rescuers, volunteer rescue groups e.g. Red Cross formations, volunteer fire fighters, etc. Whenever the alert is involved, and a quick members response is required. The app is available in English, other languages are easy to include.
How it started
GoRescuer App is a result of talks between the Medical Rescuers Group of Polish Red Cross, Wroclaw Branch and intive, a global digital powerhouse. The idea of this solution was brought to the internal Do Good Apps initiative and this time software-related volunteers grouped up to support volunteer rescuers.
